What To Expect

Welcome!

We know that showing up to a new place for the first time can be intimidating. As a first-time guest, we want to ensure you have the best experience when visiting Rush Creek Church, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.

What should I wear?

We dress casual. We believe what a person looks like on the outside is not nearly as important as what is on the inside. At Rush Creek you will see blue jeans, khakis, dresses, shorts, and skirts. Dress however you feel comfortable.

What are services like?

We strive to create an environment for worship where people are encouraged to experience the presence of God. Our music style is an expression of contemporary culture yet is driven by lyrics that reflect our reverence towards an awesome and holy God. Our messages are Bible based, creative, and offer practical insights to relevant issues that concern everyone. We want your worship experience at Rush Creek to be one of the best hours of your week!

Where can my teenager plug in?

We want our students be different from the average teenager and to experience the extraordinary life that God has given to them in the work of Jesus Christ. For this to happen, it’s essential for Rush Creek Students to: Gather in worship (Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm & Sundays in the Main Service). Grow in a Student Group. Go in a ministry at the church (through Servant’s Heart Program) and into their school with the awesome news of Jesus.

What about my children?

When you first enter the building, look for the Rush Creek Kids check in station, fill out a connection card, and our leaders will guide you and your children to the appropriate room for the first time!

Do you have Sunday School?

Sunday morning is built around three priorities: worship, children, and serving. In order to do all three well, we moved our morning bible studies to evening and mid-week Groups. Groups are gatherings of 8-12 people getting together to do life together.
