Roots is our Wednesday night program for incoming 5th & 6th graders. The schedule will follow the school calendar, beginning August 21st, with breaks at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. We will end the year with a fun night of celebration in May.
The hosting campuses this year are Green Oaks, Mira Lagos, and Mansfield West. If your 5th/6th grader attends Arlington Park, we encourage them to join the Green Oaks campus. If your 5th grader attends the Midlothian campus, we encourage them to join the Mira Lagos campus.
This is what your student can expect from a night of Roots:
At the beginning of the night, students play games outside with peers. This can include gaga ball, football, volleyball, tag, etc. Once we move inside the building, students will sit with their assigned leader and small group for Worship, a Bible lesson, and small group discussion time. Their small group will stay as consistent as possible throughout the year to help your student build relationships with their leader and peers. For pick-up at 8:30p, there will be a car pick-up line.

Happy Holidays from Roots: Roots will be on winter break from December 18th to January 15th. Our team will be recharging and getting ready to kick off 2025 with fresh energy and exciting things ahead!
