Servant’s Heart is an opportunity for our students to be Forerunners of the Faith by serving on Sunday mornings at their campus. 4th-12th grade students can register to serve in areas like Preschool Ministry, Kid’s Worship, greeting alongside our Connections team, as well as several other areas.

Student Group Leader (Sunday Morning or Wednesday Night)
This leader has 8 students that they disciple through bible study, conversation, encourage, and prayer.

Worship/Media Team
These leaders create a meaningful and fun worship experience on Wednesdays with our Student Pastor and Worship Leader.

Connection Team
Adults and student leaders that make a welcoming environment and experience for guests on Sundays and/or Wednesdays.

Leader for Infant/Toddler Areas
If you enjoy rocking babies, rolling balls with crawlers, or blowing bubbles with those beginner walkers then this is the right area of service for you.

Small Group Leader for Preschool Classrooms
The small group leader builds authentic relationships with preschoolers on a weekly basis through free play, worship, and small group discussion. The weekly Bible story and monthly Key Passage Verse are tools we provide to help you build into the next generation of kids in this ministry.

Special by Design Leader
This role specifically focuses on children with special needs so they can experience loving care in a small group that fits them best.

Substitute Leaders for Non-Curriculum Classes
This role is for adults who are willing to step into various areas when our weekly Servant Leaders need to be absent. If you enjoy rocking babies, rolling balls with crawlers, or blowing bubbles with those beginner walkers then this is the right area of service for you.

Substitute Leaders for Curriculum Classes
This role is for adults who are willing to step into various classrooms when our weekly Servant Leaders need to be absent. You will be engaging with kids during free play, a Bible story, and small group discussion.

Children’s Check-In
Actively manage the process of receiving and releasing children.

Emcee
The Emcee is a high energy role that introduces and reinforces the weekly Bible story and the monthly memory verse.

Small Group Leader for Grade School
The small group leader builds authentic relationships with students on a weekly basis through free play, worship, small group discussion, and prayer time.

Special by Design Leader
This role specifically focuses on children with special needs so they can experience loving care in a small group that fits them best.

Worship Team Vocalists
Vocal Team auditions are held at various times throughout the year. Partnership is required to audition for this team. Rehearsals and team gatherings vary per campus.

Worship Team Band
Band auditions are held at various times throughout the year (individual auditions can be set up as well). Partnership is required to audition for this team. Rehearsals vary per campus.

Media Team
This team will operate lights, camera, graphics, and audio during the services. There are serving opportunities throughout the week—Sunday, Wednesday, and more. Events vary per campus.

Parking
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all upon arrival and departure from the campus.
• One hour on Sunday mornings.
• Requires arrival thirty minutes prior to the start of the service.

Medical
Act as an on-call resource in the event of a medical emergency while on campus.
• This position requires medical professionals and the appropriate licenses.
• One hour on Sunday mornings.

Safety
Serve in strategic locations to facilitate safety for all attendees.
• One hour on Sunday mornings.
• Requires arrival fifteen minutes before the start of the service

Greeter
Create a welcoming atmosphere for all by guiding movements in and out of the building.
• One hour on Sunday mornings.
• Requires arrival fifteen minutes before the start of the service

Usher
Maintain an organized social setting within the worship center.
• One hour on Sunday mornings.
• Requires arrival fifteen minutes before the start of the service.

Coffee
Operate the coffee bar and generate a community oriented venue.
• Time- One hour on Sunday mornings
• Requires arrival fifteen minutes before the start of the service

New Here, Start Here
Provide answers and guidance to all regarding church programming.
• One hour on Sunday mornings.
• Requires arrival fifteen minutes before the start of the service.

Grief Share Co-Leader
This person will help facilitate our grief recovery group for adults who are struggling with loss and grief. This group will be on Sundays from 5-7pm at the Green Oaks campus throughout the school year.

Marriage Mentor Couples
These couples must have been married at least 10 years and willing to minister to 4 to 5 couples through Merge (for premarital); Foundation (for 1st time marriages married 3 years or less) and ReEngage (for couples who want to reconnect, reignite or resurrect their marriage), which is available at all 3 campuses.

Leaders and Greeters at Re:Generation
This person needs a warm personality and a smile to welcome our guests and regular participants in Re:Generation Monday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm.

A/V Personnel
This person will run sound and/or powerpoint (training is provided) for Re:Generation Monday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Divorce Care Leader, Co-Leader and Divorce Care for Kids
This person(s) will work as a team to help facilitate our divorce recovery group for adults or children on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm at the Green Oaks campus.

Shiloh Co-Leader
This person will help facilitate our infertility and miscarriage group. This group meets Wednesday evenings at the Green Oaks Campus.

Photography
This team helps to capture photos at both our regular weekends and special events. Photos are used on the church’s social media, print, and website.

Videography
Videography volunteers serve to help as grips, gaffers, videographers, directors, actors, and voice overs supporting our staff video team as we capture stories and promote events.

Website
A group of volunteers that use their gifts in website development to improve on the church’s web presence and who help build tools for the church.

Social Media
This team helps generate content for Instagram stories. These stories will reflect events at the church, worship, clips of a Sunday sermon, etc.

Online Host
Serving from home or on location, this team of volunteers serves as greeters and conversation starters for those who are attending online. This team also offers provides one-on-one prayer through a chat interface during on Sunday service for our online community.

Google Ads
A group of volunteers that assist with creating Google ad campaigns and monitoring keyword performance to help further the reach of Rush Creek Church.
