PURPOSE:
The Technology Specialist is a central role that serves all Rush Creek campuses and venues. Manages the overall design, installation, and maintenance of the network operations and audio/video tech for Rush Creek utilizing the most effective technologies and architecture to build an infrastructure that supports the sharing of knowledge within the organization and with partners by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, installation, deployment, and performance tuning of network operations.
• Plans and implements changes to existing systems.
• Consults with network engineers on design of new projects and maintain security standards.
• Monitors and suggests improvements in capacity planning.
• Oversees the system administration process including user ID, virtual host connectivity, and e-mail administration.
• Manages implementation, installation and maintenance of equipment in all Rush Creek venues, including portable sound systems and off-site technology.
• House Lighting & Electrical maintenance for all worship areas
• Monthly on-site visits to each campus for inspection and upkeep of AV, IT and other equipment. This visit should be coordinated with the worship pastor to help address campus specific needs.
• Available to assist all campuses with Technology related issues on Sunday mornings. This would include AV and IT issues that affect the ministries of Rush Creek in real time on Sundays.
• Trouble shooting, maintaining, and updating audio, visual, lighting, computer and other technology needs at all campuses. This includes issues submitted to support@rushcreek.org

Qualifications

• A follower of Jesus Christ and have demonstrated faith through full immersion baptism
• At least 5 years of experience in a technological field (preferably in roles where you had to manage the technological needs of an organization).
• At least 3 years of experience managing other people.
• Proficiency in a variety of technological fields, including VoIP telephony, wireless site surveys and configuration,
• IT security, and both Windows and Mac computers.
• A detail-oriented personality.
