Children with a wide variety of special needs can experience loving care in the Kids Ministry of Rush Creek. We strive to meet each child’s unique physical, social and developmental needs. Children are included in small groups and worship times in the setting that fits them best. Rush Creek has volunteers who specifically focus on these kids who are Special by Design.
Families who have children with special needs from 8 weeks old to 6th grade are free to bring their children to any of the ministry hours while parents attend adult worship on Sunday mornings. Please contact us prior to your first visit so that we can prepare to best meet your family’s needs from the start.
Because each child is different and may have their own set of needs when left with a volunteer, please email us at rckids@rushcreek.org with your questions or concerns. We understand that this is delicate and may need to be discussed beforehand. We hope to see you soon!
