We cannot wait to kick off Roots this year with our 5th/6th graders. Roots is our Wednesday night program at Mira Lagos, Mansfield West, and Green Oaks. It follows the typical school year schedule with breaks at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. We will end the year with a fun night of celebration in May.
The 2021-2022 Roots year will begin Wednesday, August 18th with each campus, Mira Lagos, Mansfield West, and Green Oaks, hosting their own kick-off party from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. This is a great time for your student to be reunited with their friends, meet their leader, play awesome games, and learn more about Roots. You can register your student for the 21-22 Roots year and kick-off party below.
This is what your student can expect from a night of Roots:
- At the beginning of the night, students play games outside with peers. This can include gaga ball, football, volleyball, tag, etc.
- Once we move inside the building, students will sit with their assigned leader and small group for worship, Bible lesson, and small group discussion time. Their small group will stay as consistent as possible throughout the year to help your student build relationships with their leader and peers.
- For pick-up, there will be a car pick-up line. Stay tuned for campus specific information.
