PURPOSE:
The worship ministry intern will be assigned to a specific campus to lead and oversee worship for Night of Hope on Monday nights and Student Ministry on Wednesday nights. The worship ministry intern is responsible for planning the Night of Hope and Student Ministry worship experience, leading the worship team and band, as well as recruiting and training volunteers for both events on a weekly basis.
They will also work with the campus Worship Minister to help assist with the Sunday morning worship experience.
BOTH Student Ministry and Night of Hope
- Prepare, coordinate, and lead engaging worship gatherings
- Prepare the venue’s production for the event. Including worship tracks, ProPresenter slides, light cues, and stage set-up.
- Oversees Night of Hope under the supervision of worship minister to ensure that overall worship services are effective and on target regarding content, style, structure and design.
- Weekly meeting with the student minister to partner in the planning of Student Services.
- Recruit and train band members, vocalists, and production crew who will participate in worship services.
- Lead and Shepherd the volunteers who serve in your ministries.
- Weekly meeting with Campus Worship Minister for Leadership/Discipleship training and check-ins.
- A follower of Jesus Christ and have demonstrated faith through full immersion baptism.
- Have a calling for Worship Ministry.
- Be a learner and student of the Worship Ministry
