Rush Creek Kids (Birth to Kindergarten)

Leader for Infant/Toddler Areas 
If you enjoy rocking babies, rolling balls with crawlers, or blowing bubbles with those beginner walkers then this is the right area of service for you. 

Small Group Leader for Preschool Classrooms 
The small group leader builds authentic relationships with preschoolers on a weekly basis through free play, worship, and small group discussion. The weekly Bible story and monthly Key Passage Verse are tools we provide to help you build into the next generation of kids in this ministry. 
 
Special by Design Leader
This role specifically focuses on children with special needs so they can experience loving care in a small group that fits them best.

Substitute Leaders for Non-Curriculum Classes 
This role is for adults who are willing to step into various areas when our weekly Servant Leaders need to be absent. If you enjoy rocking babies, rolling balls with crawlers, or blowing bubbles with those beginner walkers then this is the right area of service for you.

This role is for adults who are willing to step into various classrooms when our weekly Servant Leaders need to be absent. You will be engaging with kids during free play, a Bible story, and small group discussion.

Rush Creek Kids (1st-6th Grade)

Emcee 
The Emcee is a high energy role that introduces and reinforces the weekly Bible story and the monthly memory verse. 
 
Small Group Leader for Grade School 
The small group leader builds authentic relationships with students on a weekly basis through free play, worship, small group discussion, and prayer time. 
 
Special by Design Leader
This role specifically focuses on children with special needs so they can experience loving care in a small group that fits them best.

Student Ministry

Student Group Leader (Sunday Morning or Wednesday Night) 
This leader has 8 students that they disciple through bible study, conversation, encourage, and prayer.

Worship/Media Team 
These leaders create a meaningful and fun worship experience on Wednesdays with our Student Pastor and Worship Leader.

Connection Team 
Adults and student leaders that make a welcoming environment and experience for guests on Sundays and/or Wednesdays.

Servant’s Heart

Worship Ministry

Worship Team Vocalists 
Vocal Team auditions are held every July. Membership is required to audition for this team and weekly rehearsals are on Wednesday nights.

Worship Team Band 
Band auditions are held at various times throughout the year (individual auditions can be set up as well). This group practices on Wednesday nights.

Staging Team 
This team designs, assembles, and removes stage sets for each new series. We need people who are creative and have building, painting, designing or drawing skills.

Stage Crew 
Each Sunday we have elements that need be taken on and off stage during the Worship Service. The Stage Crew rotates each week on a schedule.

Media Team 
This team will operate lights and graphics during both services, must be available to attend the pre-services run through. 

Connection Ministry

Parking
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all upon arrival and departure from the campus.

Medical
Act as an on-call resource in the event of a medical emergency while on campus.

Safety
Serve in strategic locations to facilitate safety for all attendees.

Greeter
Create a welcoming atmosphere for all by guiding movements in and out of the building.

Usher
Maintain an organized and social settings within the worship center.

Children’s Check-In
Actively manage the process of receiving and releasing children

Common Grounds
Operate the coffee bar and generate a community oriented venue.

Connection Point
Provide answers and guidance to all regarding church programming.

Next Step
Welcome first time guests and offer prayer for those in need.

Compassion Ministry

Food Pantry Volunteer
Volunteer to sort food and help clients on Thursday’s from 10am-2pm.

Receptionist
Must be at receptionist desk at times when the Compassion Center is open. Will greet and direct guests as they come in for classes or events. Will be available to assist Director in administrative duties if needed.

Clothing with a Purpose Volunteer
Must be available when closet is open each week. Will organize and assist shoppers. Will pick up designated donations if needed. Will report to Coordinator as needed.

Class Volunteer
Each class offered will have a teacher and an assistant. These volunteers assist the Developer in each class.

Food Pantry Store Room Volunteer
Will help stock donations and prepare client bags for distribution based on number in each household. Each new item must be checked for expiration date, marked through its barcode, and organized on designated shelf. There must be at least 3 volunteers at each shift. At the end of the distribution day, pantry must be clean, organized, and ready for next distribution day.

Food Pantry Buyer
Will assist in purchasing items for pantry each week when needed. Refundable receipt upon request is available.

Weekend Meals Volunteer
Will help in packaging bags for schools on Wednesday evenings, preparing for delivery, and taking bags to schools on Thursdays. We also partner with the Feed the Kids program through the Common Ground Network of Mansfield and need volunteers to package at their location in Mansfield.

Donation Pick Up Volunteer
Will assist Director in coordinating pick up and drop off of area donations for Food Pantry.

After School Tutor
Must be available when tutoring is offered. Will report to Tutoring Coordinator. Must keep necessary records for Coordinator. Each volunteer must submit to a background check before working with students.

Kids Hope USA Friend
We partner with Kids Hope USA and Charlotte Anderson Elementary to provide mentors for students one hour a week during school hours. We go to the school and meet with the student to talk about their day, play games with them, and invest! We also need prayer partners for the mentors who go each week.

Care & Recovery

Grief Share Co-Leader
This person will help facilitate our grief recovery group for adults who are struggling with loss and grief. This group will be on Sundays from 5-7pm at the Green Oaks campus throughout the school year.

Marriage Mentor Couples
These couples must have been married at least 10 years and willing to minister to 4 to 5 couples through Merge (for premarital); Foundation (for 1st time marriages married 3 years or less) and ReEngage (for couples who want to reconnect, reignite or resurrect their marriage), which is available at all 3 campuses.

Greeters at Re:Generation
This person needs a warm personality and a smile to welcome our guests and regular participants in Re:Generation Monday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Arlington Park campus year round. 

A/V Personnel
This person will run sound and/or powerpoint (training is provided) for Re:Generation Monday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Arlington Park campus year round.

Divorce Care Leader, Co-Leader and Divorce Care for Kids
This person(s) will work as a team to help facilitate our divorce recovery group for adults or children on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm at the Green Oaks campus.

Prayer Team
We are looking for team members at each of our campuses who are mature Christ Followers and devoted to prayer daily. You will received the Prayer Requests weekly from our Connection Cards to pray over each week. You can also volunteer to serve each week in our Next Step room to pray with those who are in need of face to face prayer. Finally our prayer team is asked from time to time to pray with others in need at the end of service when requested by the campus pastor(s).

Communications

Photography
This team helps to capture photos at both our regular weekends and special events. Photos are used on the church’s social media, print, and website.

Videography
Videography volunteers serve to help as grips, gaffers, videographers, and directors, supporting our staff video team as we capture stories and promote events.

Website
A group of volunteers that use their gifts in website design and development to improve on the church’s web presence and who help build tools for the church.

Writing
This group is focused on writing content for social media and helping to improve the copy that we have in place on our website and in print.

Online Broadcast

Online Hosts – serving from home or on location, this team of volunteers serves as greeters and conversation starters for those who are attending online.

Online Prayer Volunteers – a team of people who are available to pray with people through a one-on-one chat interface during the services of our Online Campus. Often times, our prayer volunteers also serve as online hosts.
