Master Plan Of Discipleship

When Jesus walked among humankind, there was a certain simplicity to being His disciple. Primarily it meant to go with Him, in an attitude of observation, study, obedience, and imitation. In Part 1, we discuss God’s vision for disciples, not to invent a new strategy but to learn from Jesus Himself.

As leaders, we should seek to impart our way of living to those around us, to teach them by doing, by showing the way of Jesus in our own lives. At the same time, we have a responsibility to model behavior and when mistakes are made, it is our responsibility to show transparency in the error we made, modeling our obedience to Christ.

Being a disciple is about partnering with the Holy Spirit to multiply new disciples and communities. In part 3, we cover the topics of delegating responsibility, supervision, and multiplication of disciples. Are those who have followed us to Christ now leading others to Him and teaching them to make disciples?
