RUSH CREEK VISION STATEMENT: We are forerunners of the faith, united, to help people find and follow Jesus.
PURPOSE:
The worship minister will be assigned to a specific campus while also working on a team of Worship Ministers to coordinate and maintain a unified experience across all Rush Creek Campuses. The worship minister is responsible for planning Sunday morning worship experience and other worship events, leading the worship team and band, as well as stage design, lighting, effects, media, etc. on a weekly basis and for events at their home campus.
CAMPUS
- Prepare, coordinate, and lead engaging worship gatherings and ensure the addition of new and relevant worship songs/elements in our weekend services.
- Cast vision, monitor, and influence all aspects of production to ensure it reflects the vision, values and goals of the church.
- Work with Campus Pastor to ensure that overall weekend worship services are effective and on target regarding content, style, structure and design.
- Weekly meeting with Sunday Production team.
- Bi-Weekly One-on-One with Worship Team Lead.
- Recruit and train band members, vocalists, and production crewwho will participate in our weekend worship services.
- Recruit and Schedule CREW to serve at extra events at your home campus... funerals, graduations, etc.
- Lead and Shepherd CREW members in a Pastoral capacity. (Lunches, Coffees, Greenroom supplies)
- Work with team to monitor and improve online streaming.
- Cross Ministry Worship support at Campus (Kids, Students, Groups) as needed.
TEAM
- Weekly meeting with Worship Team as scheduled by team lead.
- Assist with planning special worship services such as Christmas Eve, Easter, Night of Worship and other special services as assigned.
- Will work with Worship and Production Teams on set designs and creative elements as needed and help pursue consistent branding throughout worship and media.
- A follower of Jesus Christ and have demonstrated faith through full immersion baptism
- Have a calling for Worship Ministry
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a worship minister
- Knowledge of ProPresenter, Ableton, and Planning Center
- Comfortable creating charts, tracks, and sheet music as needed
Groups Minister:
Leader Support & Development
- Meet one-on-one with leaders 1-2 times a year.
- Recruit, equip and develop each leader and coach in their role as group leader or coach.
- Guide leaders and coaches as they identify and begin to develop future leaders and coaches.
- Work with leaders and coaches to monitor the health, effectiveness, and duration of groups.
- Be available to minister and serve each leader and coach.
- Provide leaders and coaches with opportunities for personal development.
Leader Enlistment
- Connect with future leaders and provide next steps for development.
- Provide development opportunities for future leaders.
- Interview all new leaders in preparation for each group launch season and short-term group offering.
Group Administration
- Ensure timely follow up after each leader meeting.
- Verify that all group information is current and accurate.
- Track group progress and work towards successful multiplication of groups.
