In response to the rescinded mask order, we at Rush Creek want to continue to provide opportunities for people to come and hear about Jesus and worship Him. We want everyone to feel welcomed whether they are visiting us in person at one of our campuses or joining us online. We don’t believe this crisis should be a wedge that separates His people from their worship. We cannot look at those who choose to wear a mask as people living in fear with no faith, in the same respect we cannot view those who are comfortable not wearing a mask as people who don’t value human life. We are a faith family of FORERUNNERS that choose to respect one another and make our focus Jesus Christ alone.
So, in an effort to create balance we will maintain our stance as a church that we have held since we were birthed: Come as you are. We will be a place of no judgement. Rush Creek is a place where people with a mask are welcomed and a place where those who choose not to wear one can also worship together. That’s what makes us great as a church. A church who loves our community and one that cares about our neighbors’ eternity. We also agree that we will all be respectful of one another’s choices and will continue to practice social distancing and sanitizing efforts.
We look forward to seeing you in person or online Sunday!
