Scripture is composed of 66 unique texts, written by 40 authors from three continents over the course of 2000 years….but retains an incredible unity of messages. Reading and sharing the scriptures can increase our faith and confidence, while helping us respond and grow in the message as well. Week 4 Devotional- The Comeback by Louie Giglio
This week our campus pastors talked through how Jesus’ Resurrection turns denial to devotion. After the Resurrection, Peter denied Jesus three times and didn’t follow him as he had been called. And yet, Jesus forgave him. Obedience to Jesus’ command, Follow Me, is a key issue in many Christian’s lives. As Jesus followed the Father’s will, so His disciples should follow their Lord whether the path leads to a cross or to some other difficult experience.
The Cross and Resurrection were a set up for all the comeback stories. We encourage you to join us in reading this weeks devotional, “The Comeback” by Louie Giglio.
