Preschool Minister, Mira Lagos campus

This is a three-quarter time position on the family ministry team. It requires 29 hours including Sunday mornings and some office hours.

Ministry Purpose

The Church on Rush Creek believes wholeheartedly in the centrality of the home for spiritual instruction and development. Because of this, we are searching for a follower of Jesus who loves children and has a strong calling to help parents become the primary faith leaders in their kids’ lives. This person will serve on our children’s ministry staff to encourage and equip parents; plan and facilitate children’s programming and events; and recruit, train, and equip leaders to serve kids with excellence and love.

Qualifications
  • A clear call to serve families in the context of the local church
  • Three years of experience serving children in a high level servant leader role
  • Demonstrate a proven record of exhibiting the following skills and competencies:
    • Ability to communicate clearly and cohesively
    • Ability to develop, empower, and lead high functioning servant leader teams
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to problem-solve, use time management, and prioritize work

Preschool Minister, Mira Lagos campus

This position is 25 hours per week, Sunday - Monday, flexible Tuesday – Thursday in the office area at the Green Oaks campus.

Ministry Purpose

This administrative assistant assists the Business Administrator’s office in all areas of ministry. Major responsibilities are contributions processing, AP, deposits, payroll and journal entries.

Qualifications
  • A clear call to serve families in the context of the local church
  • Must have administrative assistant experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be organized and have great attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and a team player
  • Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and have been baptized by immersion

Administrative Assistant-LifeGroups-Central Staff

This position is 28 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday and is located in the office area at the Green Oaks campus.

Ministry Purpose

The LifeGroups admin assists the LifeGroup pastors with all areas of group life such as making appointments, keeping group records and planning groups events.

Qualifications
  • Must have administrative assistant experience

Student Ministry Worship Interns-Mira Lagos and Mansfield West Campus

This position is paid internship for 15-20 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday.

Ministry Purpose

The intern will work alongside the campus worship pastor and student pastor to develop a student band and lead worship for student worship services. This internship will require actual work hours each week as well as upper-level learning experience with the goal being to eventually become a part of the ministry staff at The Church on Rush Creek.

Qualifications
  • Must be called to worship ministry
  • Must be gifted in developing a well rounded band
  • Must be working toward a degree in worship or music
  • Must be flexible and a team player
  • Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and have been baptized by immersion

Facilities Assistant-Mira Lagos campus Lead

This position is the Lead facilities person at the Mira Lagos campus, but may also rotate to other campuses.

Ministry Purpose

The role of this position is to be the lead facilities person at the Mira Lagos campus, making sure that the campus is clean and in working condition and setting up for events. All facilities staff members are required to rotate to other campuses for events and fill in help.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Needs to have reliable transportation
  • Exerts good communication skills to superiors and staff
  • Must be flexible and a team player
  • Must be a follower of Jesus Christ

Childcare Worker-all campuses

This position has variable hours each week and supports the Children’s Ministry Staff.

Ministry Purpose

Your role will be to provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient care to our children. Your ministry responsibilities include playing with the children or directing their play, reading to the children, praying for each child, exhibiting Christ-like patience and love, and relating the events of the day to the lesson and theme in words that children can understand.

Qualifications
  • Must have a passion to work with children
  • Must be 16 years of age
  • Needs to have reliable transportation
  • Exerts good communication skills to superiors and parents
  • Able to teach curriculum with enthusiasm
  • Must be flexible and a team player
  • Must be a follower of Jesus Christ
